Northern Parula Warbler in Flight
I have been spending most of my time in my backyard since the lock down and have made my yard bird and butterfly friendly. This Pavonia shrub is a big attractor for birds and during migration I get a lot of temporary visitors that need to refuel before heading further North for the Spring. Birds will often spend several days feeding from dawn to dusk, often in the very same area. This Northern Parula Warbler spent a lot of time hovering to get the best flowers.
