Easton Beach is a iconic Middletown RI destination. Folks from Newport RI come there to play in the surf and sand. The beach is very wide with lifeguards in the summer. During my visit, I walked along the beach. These unused lifeguard platforms were in a back parking lot adjacent to the beach. The rising sun colored them yellow and blue as they lay in the lot. Rain the night prior caused a large puddle in the lot.
