NSHORNA BLUES

This should be worth a thousand words But I can't get it all down Before the next class is up Surrounded by wealth my heart can feel, I play along the shore, feet deep rooted Leaving my footprints A memory of where I'm from A reminder of where I'm headed And when the tides wash down the shore Washing my memories away, I wage war with my situation With my weapon in hand I'll write my way out Painting every word as soothing as the wave As calm as the sun sets above the sea Leaving doors to infinite possibilities as the sands.
