Nueva Venecia
New Venice is a palafito town of the Marsh of Santa Marta, between Cartagena and Santa Marta, main cities of the Colombian Caribbean. Its 3,000 inhabitants live isolated from tourism. To get from place to place, it is necessary to travel by boat. School buses are canoes and each house is an island.
