In the evening the Plaza in NYC turns on lights to illuminate its upper stories, right around sundown. Within minutes the southeast corner of Central Park will descend into inky blackness, but for a few precious moments one can see it like this. On a weekday night the buildings are a brightly lit adding energy to the scene.
