I frequently took the free Staten Island Ferry during my stay in New York City on Fourth of July weekend. As we passed the Statue of Liberty the sun setting silhouetted the statue and the people on the ferry deck. I captured the statue but I zoomed back out to capture other people’s actions. Tourists taking pictures, watching the statue, or getting their picture taken with it behind them.
