As a photographer and a gardener, I am perpetually inspired and bedazzled by the garden in all seasons. In my new Botanica series, garden flowers are scanned on a high-resolution film scanner for maximum detail. Garden flowers on black background are reminiscent of old Dutch Master paintings, and Victorian era floral designs. I’m also inspired by French Rococo floral paintings, and Japanese Ikebana floral design.
