This photo was taken in Deep Cove, British Columbia, Canada. September of 2017. My best friend was visiting from Toronto. She had never been kayaking in the ocean. In this particular moment the water was so calm it looked like glass. I had never seen anything like it before. I was able to capture this candid moment with my best friend, the mountains of British Columbia and this blissful view of nature. It is a moment I will cherish forever.
