20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Artistic
Ocean in 2030

The immensity of the sea makes many think that it can be a good hiding place for much of the garbage produced on earth. Nothing could be more wrong as the balance of our planet is in part dependent on the seas and oceans. This image is intended to be a kind of satire, where the water will be so polluted in the future that even the fish present in the pictures hanging on the walls will want to escape from there.
