This is a composite, from two originals I made. The foreground image of the Yei Bi Chi (Totem Poles) was shot in 2006 on an early DSLR. The image of the annular eclipse which I shot on October 14, was shot over the Totem Poles in Monument Valley, but from a different place and angle than the telephoto image.
