Of Life and Death

Eyes riveted on her prey, a lioness catapults from an ambush. In spite of relatively close distance (less than 5 meters) the warthog managed to bolt (no pun intended) to safety. The time seemed to freeze although the moment lasted exactly 5 frames at 1/500th of a second i.e. exactly 1/100th of a second or 10 milliseconds of adrenaline boost. Dusk light required ISO of 3200. Amazing scene. Unforgettable experience. Worthy the full day of tracking this particular pride of lions.
