Old Buildings in Telegraph Creek, British Columbia, Gold Rush era

The old Telegraph Creek village site is in the Stikine Canyon, in northern British Columbia. The Tahltan people have lived in this area for thousands of years, but the gold rush brought hordes of miners to their territory, along with the telegraph. The narrow, steep, winding road into this small community is largely unchanged from the 1800s.
