The crowds enjoying the cherry trees in Washington DC are a sight to behold, but it can make photographing them a challenge. In places it was hard to walk due to the thick crowds. As I looked at this old tree I marveled at the years of foot traffic it withstood, its gnarled beauty, and its magnificent bloom. What stories this old tree could tell!
