Taos, NM is the home of the well-known Overland Sheepskin Co. Established in 1973, the land has accumulated old vehicles, parts of buildings, and a sculpture garden, most Hippie lifestyle castoffs, adjacent to the parking lot. It is a magical place in the high desert with Taos Mountain resting large on the horizon, among a chain of mountains rising from the flat valley of cottonwoods and sage. The artifacts around the building always capture the eye of an historian and baby boomer. I could not resist the icons.
