Old Mailbox

We were traveling the backroads of North Carolina in the mountains and were about to stop at a town called Valle Crusis. We had been talking about the "old days" (ie days before smart phones) and how we used to look forward to getting mail towards Thanksgiving and Christmas. I saw this old tired mailbox, which looked like it hadnt been used in decades, and decided it was a metaphor for our conversation about how communication has changed so much in the 21st century.
