Old Mine

The ruins of an old mine on the road to Shatili, in Georgia. Georgia spent 100 years under Soviet rule and, once the state support for the countries infrastructure and industries was removed, much began to fall into disrepair and ruin. Driving along some of the countries less well-known roads, one comes across these ruins a lot and a wide angle lens is always useful in order to get the subject and its environment in.
