old woman’s smile
In Vietnam, Tet is extremely meaningful to every citizen. It was the day when everyone went away to return to their homeland, back to their families. That day on the second day of Lunar New Year in my hometown. When I and I were talking to each other. Suddenly, her children appeared in front of her, for a long time she had not seen them. All of them are working far away, now back home. She has lived alone long since her husband died. I was in a hurry to capture this moment, it was the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen. And perhaps long enough, we will realize: Loneliness for the elderly is the harshest torture that pour down time.
