I noticed the hole on the wall when I walked by. I looked through it and saw the houses being teared down inside. It is an ongoing demolition. A lot of demolitions take place in the Yangpu District, Shanghai, these years. The demolitions bring away the old houses, allowing the modern constructions to replace. I thought peaking through the hole on the wall offers a unique perspective, so I took the shoot.
