I had found a snowy owl and was going daily to try to spot it as it seemed to staying in a fairly small area of several kilometers. That day, I had given up looking and headed to the shoreline to look at the ocean. When I looked down towards the water I was surprised to see the owl sitting on some dark rocks, still wet from the tide's recent receding. I quickly set up my camera and started taking images. The owl was not bothered by me at all so I waited until it turned its head to face me and fired off some frames. I managed to capture this image. I love the contrast of the white owl against the dark rocks. I hope you enjoy it.
