Probably one of the most suggestive beaches of Alagoas - and a perfect portrayal of the so-called Caribe Brasilero - Maragogi was one of the stops of my road trip through the Nord East part of my country in 2017. A long, shallow beach which culminates in an incredible and lively reef, Maragogi's colours are unreal. The sea fuses itself with the sky and the sunlight is so bright that at times it feels blinding. This is what Paradise looks like.
