Orange butterfly with fluff seed on wing
A drifting seed of our native fireweed (Chamerion angustifolium) is caught on the wing of a butterfly. I followed it through the paths of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge outside Vancouver, Washington, to get this shot.
