19th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
Orange jelly fungi on a young tree.
This fungus caught my eye as I walked among the autumn trees. Mainly sights of grey and brown yet this vivid orange pierced the mire. It made for a great contrasting photo.
