Fog rolls in from to the Oregon Coast. A lighthouse stands at the end of this cape as both a warning and welcoming to sailors of the rock to come. In the Coast Guard I remember looking at the cliffs from the sea and feeling their sturdy presence. Weathered by time but home nonetheless. Small black specks are the sea birds coming in to nest.
