This is a shot from an incredibly lucky (lots of passing hazy clouds) and windy outing near Rodanthe, NC in the Outer Banks in November 2019. The other side of this dune looks down on the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. At first, I was a little disappointed by the high clouds/haze, but it ultimately led to a neat halo effect of the prominent stars of Orion.
