Osprey Struggles to Takeoff
Osprey are raptors that hunt along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay. Once they capture a fish, they often struggle to takeoff. To easy the transition to flight, they quickly reposition the fish to an aerodynamic position, much like an external tank on a military aircraft, to make flying easier.
