Our dog Ruby on the back deck after a weekend fishing trip
My parents adopted Ruby 8 years ago from a shelter that euthanized animals . They live in Alaska, and initially said they didn’t want a dog. She has since saved my mom from a charging moose, stayed by her side when she became sick and provided continuous joy to our family.
