One of my favorite painters is Salvador Dali. I find him to be the king of surrealism, and he is truly inspiring. The issue I've had with my art medium (landscape photography) is try to include surrealism. I took this photograph in Arizona, the Vermillion cliffs. The stars are a milky-way I photographed, made into a "black hole". Reality for me lately has been very overwhelming. Our current state with our politics, the endless bad news stories, mass shootings and the day to day stresses forced me to create this reality. I like to change my stresses into something beautiful and positive for myself, and for others to enjoy.
