Out of Her Shadow: Backlit brown bear and cub in Alaska
This image is a metaphor for the moment when all children need to step out of the shadow and security blanket of their parents, and go forth to lead their own lives. This particular cub has many more months before it reaches that point in its life. But if the confidence of its step is anything to go by, it will surely thrive!
