Out of the Mist

OK, so it wasn't really mist. Or rain. Or fog. But it was overcast and gray and rather bleak. During a lunchtime walk, I saw this single tall ship in Boston Harbor and it reminded me of the Santa Maria and how the passengers and crew must have felt when they finally arrived on land. Everything in the photo is gray or black with an occasional optimistic red. I found the scene simple and haunting.
