With hundreds of migrants and refugees arriving day and night at the Idomeni camp, conditions became overwhelmingly squalid. With little information passed on to refugees, many found themselves unaware of camp realities. Migrants from countries such as Eritrea, Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan climbed over the barbed-wire border.
