Throughout Africa, the oxpecker is easy to miss when focusing on enormous giraffes, buffalo, and antelope, but once you focus on them you’ll see them living their busy lives, happy to remove parasites and hide in the shadows. I was excited to take this shot because it felt like the birds were peaking at me.
