14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
Paddling at Bowman Lake
During the 100th anniversary celebration of the National Park system, we went paddling at Bowman Lake in Glacier National Park. This pristine lake with jade green water and the mountains jutting in the distance was spectacular. A group of Mergansers swam alongside us for much of our excursion.
