15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
Painted Kelp
When I looked over the end of the Santa Monica pier, I saw a single piece of kelp in the water. It slowly and gracefully danced to the tune of the current just below the surface of the water. It was beautiful, and I just had to photograph it.
