My name, Paloma, means dove in Spanish. It is a name that I chose for myself. Finding it was a spiritual experience. I've been an animal photographer for over a decade. In this series of self-portraits, I seek to explore the emotional bond between humans and animals. I shot this at home during the lockdown as means to continue feeding my creative spark.
