How do we find beauty in a pandemic? Many can identify with this self-portrait. Finding beauty in the mist of loss, chaos and social distance can make you feel silenced. There's so much truth in this picture, as I wear a handmade mask that became my face an identity yet it doesn't define my true self-identify that is found in God. The hand that its fixing my hair as a cross tattoo that it complements perfectly the composition of this image since that's the foundation of my life and where my true identify it's founded on. I know many will disagreed with me, but let's agreed to disagreed that this time and season in life as made us all realized what truly matters in life. The true beauty behind a masked world. I guess sadly this generation needed a pandemic to realized that sooner, without an invitation but yet forced into our lives. Why a self-portrait? you may ask, well like the famous quote: "the eyes are the window of the soul", these eyes are focus on the cross of Jesus Christ weather you agreed or not. We all need somebody to reach down and pull us out of our darkness. Who's doing that for you?
