I was covering a protest happening in Birmingham, AL. What drew me to this specific person was the intensity of his eyes. He was telling me how he had all this gear just incase there would be tear gas involved. His mask framed his face perfectly almost solider like. He told me he was a solider just out here fighting for his life and what a life he has to fight corona and social injustice at the same time.
