As a popular highway in Xinjiang, the Panlong Ancient Road was named one of the most beautiful highways in China by China National Geographic in 2021. It lies horizontally in the Kunlun Mountains, like a giant dragon hovering on the Pamir Plateau at an altitude of over 4100 meters.
