Paper Towels in the Covid-19 Desert
During the height of early days of the Covid-19 2020 pandemic, United States stores could not get in or keep in paper products and paper towels became a hot commodity. We would visit each week only to see empty shelves. Seeing a fresh shipment of paper towels was a sight to behold. Like water in the desert of 2020. Even with purchasing limits a fully stocked shelf would be empty in less than 30 minutes as shoppers bought out the stores weekly delivery.
