I found this jumping spider in my neighborhood's nature preserve. I was lying in the grass taking a break from taking pictures just looking at the dirt, oak galls and cedar leaves when I noticed something move. I realized it was a tiny jumping spider. I slowly picked my macro lens up and attached extension tubes to it since the spider was so small. It looked curiously at the lens as a photographed it but mostly stayed still allowing me to get this close up, eye to eye shot.
