Paradise, One Year Later
Last year, the town of Paradise was almost completely destroyed (about 18K structures destroyed) by the most deadly and devastating wildfire in California's history. Today, one year after the disaster, the water is contaminated with cancer-causing benzene, thousands of flame-damaged trees need to be removed, melted cars and numerous burned-out buildings are everywhere.
