Hiked 4 miles through a humid forest where I made my way through clouds of mosiquitoes and stable flies. Emerging from the forest I came to the shore of Lake Superior. I couldn't believe how blue and clear the water was. I felt as if I was transported out of the midwest and into the caribbean.
