Park Buhara
16/3 2025 Bukara Uzbekistan Ismail Samani Park Uzbekistan The Recreation Park still carries the atmosphere of the Soviet era: small entertainment buildings in a “Russian” style, old Cyrillic signs, and simple concrete and metal rides. Created through the transformation of an ancient cemetery into a public space, the park tells the story of memory layered with leisure. Today, the Ferris wheel and retro pavilions are not just relics of the past, but symbols of continuity: for young Uzbeks, who live between modernity and tradition, they represent a bridge between eras — a place where the city reveals itself from different perspectives, weaving together history and the present.
