This photo is showing the perspective of the roots of plants. Their roots are a synonym to our knees and legs. When cut off, it is as if they have no way of moving, growing, changing. In the photo, the black is approaching the brown roots. The black is the disease of carbon dioxide, encroaching upon the very thing plants need for sustenance, their legs.
