I had taken this photograph to symbolize the death of a part of me, the party animal that had died when i got diagnosed with my chronic illnesses, the self portrait is posed and constructed in such a way to portray the sorrow that went along with the life changing painful time of my life that the diagnosis brought and the beginning of another my photography
