Pastor Jose Galian Galea
I met Jose Galian Galea, age 51, at the bus station in Navojoa. He is a born-again Christian and Pastor from Honduras. As he and other migrants boarded government provided buses, they had a moment to relax, safely. His devotion to God, even in the face of adversity, was astonishing. Jose was not alone, there were thousands of religious migrant religious groups within the masses. They would pray as a collective. Many chanted prayers as they travelled. Many of the Evangelicals believed that God would move Donald Trump’s heart and allow them access in the U.S. A majority of the people who assisted the migrants were also Christian.
