Two Rendille warriors supervise a valley around Ngurunit, Northern Kenya. Becoming a Moran (Warrior) is a rite of passage for every young Rendille man. After being circumcised in their early teens, these young men serve their community patrolling the land and protecting their families from rival tribes. Only after having served as a Moran for several years, will they be allowed to get married.
