Paynes Prairie, wild horse roaming the prairie
Wild Cracker Horses, reintroduced to Paynes Prairie to display the Spanish heritage of the prairie. Decedents of Spanish Colonial Horses , the horses were used by Florida cowboys until the 1930's but now roam the prairie free.
