After the rain, the sunset shines brightly on the foot area of Somrong Pagoda's giant reclining Buddha, creating a sense of peace. Som Rong pagoda, ward 5, Soc Trang province, Vietnam, where there is a giant reclining Buddha statue 63 m long, 22.5 m high, weighing 490 tons. Currently, this is one of the largest reclining Buddha statues in Vietnam. Like other Khmer pagoda, Som Rong is closely associated with the cultural, daily and spiritual life of the local community.
