Evans Notch Road. Mountain Pass roughly 1 mile into Maine from the New Hampshire border. Beautiful winding scenic road through the mountains of western Maine with lush greenery in the summer months and vibrant colors in the fall. Road is closed to through traffic during the winter months as it is not maintained.
