Sunset scene at Som Rong pagoda, ward 5, Soc Trang province, Vietnam, where there is a giant reclining Buddha statue 63 m long, 22.5 m high, weighing 490 tons. Currently, this is one of the largest reclining Buddha statues in Vietnam. Above the Buddha statue there are Khmer couples taking wedding photos, below the monk walks quickly after sweeping the yard at the pagoda, creating a peaceful scene. Like other Khmer pagodas, Som Rong pagoda is associated with the cultural, daily and spiritual life of the local community. Every day, many tourists come here to visit and take pictures, a famous spiritual tourist destination in Vietnam in general and Soc Trang province in particular.
